Distance Times Time
This body of work contains both a video installation and a series of prints that center on the investigation of vision, travel, and speed. Foveal vision, which makes up only two percent of the visual field, allows for great color perception and clarity. Perceptions of space and motion are largely mediated through peripheral vision, accounting for the remaining ninety-eight percent of the visual field. The divide between these two types of vision is the core of a project that urges introspection and engagement.
