Flash n' Glo
This body of work is comprised of a series of prints created from photographic images taken throughout Alaska in the summertime. Printed with phosphorescent ink, the images charge with light and expend that energy during periods of darkness. This series is displayed within a controlled environment in which the lights continually flash on and off. The cycling of the flashing lights foregrounds the ever-changing environment in which we live; light and dark, altering our perceptions, fleeting, from one moment to the next.
